The day after Christmas, we headed up to Virginia to do some more Christmas celebrating with Cara and Phillip and their kiddos. Lily was so looking forward to this - she just loves her cousins, especially Sophie! Although when they get together, it's a lot like they're sisters. Happy until the other wants what they have, they both want to be the same princess, etc. etc, but they're the best of friends otherwise. It's seriously cute to see them together. This time, they had something new to argue over- Annabelle! Anytime one of them wanted to hold her, the other one did. Luckily, aunt Katie is a great referee - she's had lots of practice :)
Annabelle got lots of snuggles from everybody (especially Aunt Cara ;) ) and she was perfectly content in everybody's arms. We ate great food, opened presents, played games and just got to spend time with each other. Aunt Cara and daddy (Richard) even participated in the Nerf war the kids had going on! The time we all have together is so precious - we don't get to do it often and never for very long, but as soon as we get together, its like no time at all has passed. Loved this Christmas.
