On Christmas morning, we had a few of Lily's goodies unwrapped and set up so that she would see them as soon as she headed downstairs. And her gaze immediately found her dress up box! She had to try some things on, so most of our pictures are featuring at least one dress up item :) We opened our stockings first and then went on to our presents. I got an iPad!! It was completely unexpected - I was so surprised. And I've used it daily ever since I got it... It is awesome.
Richard's gift was a little more complex to open than mine was. He had to go on a scavenger hunt to find his... It started at the Christmas tree and he followed the clues out through the house (and outside) to find his present. He last clue led him to the garage where he finally found his gift to open. And he opened it to find a... vacation! I planned a long weekend for us at this fantastic resort in North Myrtle Beach - just the two of us. I think he was a little surprised :)
After presents, we took some time to enjoy just lazing around before getting ready for the day and start dinner prep. A little later that afternoon, Nana, Paca and Aunt Katie came up to join us for dinner and more Christmas!
