The weekend before Christmas, Lily and I traveled down to Asheboro to have Christmas with Aunt Cara, Uncle Phillip, Aunt Marie, Adrian and all of Lily's cousins. Unfortunately, because we headed down on a Thursday afternoon, daddy wasn't able to join us - having to work and all and we sure did miss him.
Before we did our Christmas Lily, Sophie, Aunt Cara and I got to go to my friend Sarah Beth's house Friday morning for her son Jaxon's first annual cookie decorating party!
Once we got home from the cookie decorating party, we loaded up all the kiddos and headed to see Monsters Inc, 3D. This was Lily's second movie and again, the popcorn was her favorite part.
After we got home, we waited for everybody to come over and then feasted on a yummy "appetizer" dinner - one of my favorite kinds! Full of yummy things like bruschetta, hot wings, cheese and artichoke dip, hot cheese appetizers, baked ziti and so much more...sooo delish. After dinner, we sat down to enjoy some hang out time and presents! The kiddos had so much fun :) We gave each of the boys a set of (foam) bow and arrows (big hit), miss Sophie a gift certificate to a kid's spa (seriously, right up her alley) and miss Lydia a set of duplos with a building book to go along with it. Lily was so happy to see her cousins and we loved getting to celebrate our Christmas with them.
