Yesterday we headed down to Greensboro to celebrate the birthday of a fabulous lady - Grandma Libby! We had a great time hanging out with the extended Gabriel family. It had been awhile since we'd all been able to get together, so we really enjoyed the quality hang out time and seeing Lily visit with everyone. She had the best time running around the house and playing with the fun toys Grandma and Granddad had gotten her. After dinner, we had a fantastic birthday cake (lemon raspberry, yum!) made by Lily's Aunt Margaret and Lily got to have a little cake and her very own tiny cup of vanilla ice cream - her fave! We also got to check out Grandma Libby's cool birthday present from Granddad - a kayak! Lily was worn out when we started back to Raleigh - I don't think she made it out of the driveway before she was fast asleep in her seat. Luckily, we thought to bring her pj's with us, so she slept in cozy comfort on the way back. What a fun day!
