Well, even though (technically) today is Lily's 14 month birthday, I can't neglect the 13 month mark, so here is that update.
Lily is still such a fun baby. She has such a personality and, for the most part, stays extremely happy and content the majority of the time. One thing that started to creep up on us in her 13th month was her, hmm how shall I put it - authority on her own mind. She knows what she wants, when she wants it, so a lot of our conversations with her have "No" punctuated throughout them. She's definitely started testing her boundaries! She is such a character and a lot of the time, will do something just to see our reaction. Luckily, laughter seems to be the only reaction she really wants right now and we're more than happy to give that to her.
We didn't have a doctor's appointment for Lily this month, but she seems to weigh a little bit more and be a little bit taller. She eats pretty much everything we eat now and seems to like it all. She doesn't have too many foods she doesn't like, although veggies still rate pretty far down on her list. She loves her milk and we really have to watch her at mealtime to make sure she doesn't drink it all before trying to eat her meal.
