George and Jen's Wedding

On September 20th, two of our good friends were married in a beautiful ceremony in Greensboro. The three of us were able to go and spend this really special day with them. I'm so glad we were able to be there to share in their day and celebrate with them afterwards. It was a beautiful setting, outside by a lake, and the reception was also held outside. The food they had was so delicious (Lily especially enjoyed the watermelon on a stick!) and instead of cake, they had wedding pie! It was so yummy and made by George's aunt. George's step father keeps bees and so, their wedding favors were fun little jars of honey from his bees! The honey was fantastic - and we are big honey fans in this house. We loved getting to celebrate their wedding day with them :)
