Last Friday Lily had her 2 year old check up with her pediatrician, Dr. Franklin. Daddy got to take her all by himself - mainly because mommy knew this visit wouldn't come with any shots, so she was ok letting the two of them go alone that day - plus she knew daddy would keep her well up to date with what the doctor had to say.
According to Dr. Franklin, she's doing great. He told Richard she was very social (we had NO idea), that she seems to be doing well at problem solving and that she's speaking very well. After they left, Lily and daddy had quite the interesting conversation. It went something like this:

Lily: Doctor??
Hello??
Doctor, where are you?
Daddy: Lily, the doctor isn't here, he's inside where we just left him.
Lily: Hush daddy, hush.
Very typical Lily fashion - hush has become one of her new favorite words. At school they sing "Wheels on the Bus" and one of Lily's favorite parts is "the daddies on the bus say 'hush that fuss'", so you can guess where this new favorite word came from.
As far as her exam went, Lily is moving up in the percentiles! She was 34.25" tall and 26.25 lbs, putting her in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. Her head was 48 cm, putting her in the 75th percentile (she sure does take after her daddy!).
