Last night we had the pleasure of attending the wedding of Carson and Holly, two friends we have known now for a pretty long time! Carson is one of Richard's fraternity brothers, so that means in addition to getting to see the two of them get hitched, we also got to catch up with some great guys and their significant others - many of whom we haven't gotten to see in quite awhile. It was such a fun night! Lily got to stay with her Grandma Libby and they had a great time playing and eating some mac n cheese for dinner.
Carson and Holly planned an absolutely gorgeous wedding. It was held in the chapel at Meredith College and it was nice to visit the chapel again - I haven't been there since singing in it more than 10 years ago (yikes!). Holly was beautiful in her wedding dress and their vows were sincere and so full of love for each other - it was really a joy to witness their marriage. Their reception was held at the Museum of Natural Sciences in the new Nature Research Center and it was stunning! It only opened a few weeks ago and it was such a treat to both celebrate the wedding and get to check out the new center. Richard and I decided we would be taking Lily back in the near future to get a better look.
Congratulation Carson and Holly!! We are so excited and thrilled for you two and wish you all the happiness in the world!
