The first weekend in December, Richard and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary! We had tossed around the idea of going out of town for awhile, but when it came down to it, we really just wanted to stay home. We weren't quite sure we wanted to leave Lily for that long (it would have been a mommy/daddy only trip), plus Richard was WAY busy at work, so it worked out for us to just stay home instead. So, Lily went to Nana and Paca's house for the night, while mommy and daddy enjoyed a night for themselves.
We went to dinner at the Melting Pot and it was as yummy as always. We had this fantastic waiter named Terrence who was extremely fun and nice. He knew it was our anniversary and, in addition to the card the staff gave us, he sang us an anniversary celebration song when he brought our chocolate! It was really sweet (and embarrassing) and made for a really fun memory.
