A couple of weeks ago, I celebrated my 27th (YIKES!) birthday. It was quite a nice birthday - Richard gave me a fancy new laptop, which is basically an awesome desktop computer packed into a laptop that really resembles a stealth bomber (one of Richard's favorite features I believe). For the actual specs, you'd have to talk to Richard, but it's wonderful, as far as my opinion is concerned. It has oodles of space, is extremely fast and has an incredible graphics card - woohoo! Nana, Paca, Aunt Katie, Aunt Cara, Uncle Phillip, Caleb, Tyler, Garett and Sophie all pitched in to get me (and, indirectly, Lily) a fantastic jogging and all terrain stroller, made by Jeep. It is absolutely the most easy to steer and maneuver stroller I've ever used before, and it's quite entertaining for Lily too.
One of the best parts of my birthday was getting to unexpectedly spend the day with Lily :o). We had a nice girls day and ended it by meeting up with Daddy for some yummy bang bang shrimp at Bonefish. That weekend, Nana, Paca, Aunt Katie and Aunt Marie made the trek up to Raleigh for a birthday lunch at Firebirds and some good family hangout time. It was a beautiful day and we were able to do some shopping and walking around North Hills after lunch, which was really nice. Before saying goodbye, Lily did some showing off of her standing skills in the back of mommy's jeep. We got some good pictures of that, as well as of Lily and her Nana, Paca and Aunt Katie:
