Lily is 5 months old! She's growing up so fast! She's the cutest, loudest, most fun thing in our lives and we've loved every single minute of the past 5 months. I wasn't sure anything would ever be able to surpass Stella as the loudest thing in our house (as those of you who know her could attest to...), but Lily has done it! She loves to squeal and shriek and she can keep it going for a very long time - and it's all happy noises. She still absolutely loves to be on the floor, playing either on a blanket or on her playmat and most of the time, that's where you hear her testing out her vocal chords. She doesn't seem to be much bigger than she was at her doctor's appointment the other week, but she is steadily growing into her 3-6 month clothes and out of all of her 0-3 month clothes. She is so active - she loves to roll all over the place or just stay in one spot moving every limb she has. We're working on sitting up, although she's much more interested in playing on her back and rolling around or standing up. We've tried telling her that you need to learn to sit before standing, but so far, she doesn't believe us. She's still eating breastmilk, about 6 ounces 5-6 times a day and she's sleeping wonderfully! She's only woken me up a couple of times during the night in the last few weeks and it is so nice to consistently have a full night's sleep.
I was finally able to get a couple of videos of Lily rolling over - she's so quick!

This weekend we headed down to Asheboro for the annual Fall Festival. This year, Cara had a booth set up to sell her
Sophie's Sprinkles goods, under a bright pink tent, so we had a kind of "home base" to head back to when we needed to get off our feet. Lily was able to go on Saturday and she spent a good majority of the day there, walking around with mommy and daddy, and Grandma Libby and Grandpa Rick and hanging out at her Aunt Cara's booth. She even took a nap in her stroller for about 2 hours. We had a great time at the festival and enjoyed the time outside, as well as the yummy festival food! Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Last, but not least, we've entered Lily in the Gerber generation photo contest again this month, this time as a "Supported Sitter". If she wins the monthly prize, she wins a video camera and a spot on the Gerber website, which can lead to the grand prize - a college scholarship! Please vote for Lily on the
Gerber website! (http://www.gerber.com/photo/?entryid=120362&/#/detail/)
