This week has been a week full of firsts for Miss Lily - which makes sense, considering she's only in her second week of life! Yesterday, she had her first official outing with Mommy, Aunt Katie and Nana. Because I am still not allowed to drive, Nana and Aunt Katie rescued us from a day stuck in the house (since Daddy had to work) and treated us to a fantastic lunch and busy afternoon of shopping. Lily was able to enjoy some of it before falling asleep for her afternoon nap (I think she really enjoyed the shopping....starting her early :o) ). Lily also got to meet her Uncle Kenny for the first time. Kenny has been one of our good friends since college and is one of Richard's fraternity brothers and he was nice enough to bring us dinner from On the Border - delicious! I think the meeting was mutually exciting for both Lily and Kenny.
