Lily's Adventures this Week

Lily had another adventurous week this week with 2 fun outings. Since daddy had to work all week (except for today, yay!), Aunt Katie was able to go with us to share in the fun. She also got to visit with her Grandma Libby and Grandpa Rick on Sunday - they came up to visit and brought lots of goodies with them.

Our first outing was to Klaystation pottery; a pottery place that allows you to paint your own pottery. They take care of the glazing and firing of the piece, so all you have to do is go back and pick up your finished piece. Lily did a great job - she slept for the most part (we went at her morning naptime), until it came time for her to put her mark on the piece - her footprints! She wasn't such a fan of the cold paint on her tiny feet and toes, but we had to have a permanent reminder of those little feet. I definitely plan on taking Lily back there as she gets older to do make some more memories like this one.

Her second outing this week was to Target - a favorite place of mine to visit on a regular basis! Actually, I think it's a favorite of all the girls in our family, so we really had to go ahead and get Lily started early. She did a great job at Target too. We went during her morning naptime again and she slept peacefully in the cart the whole time, only getting a little fussy when we were checking out - I'm pretty sure she was just ready to be out of her seat for awhile. We will definitely be making this trip often, so I'm really glad she did so well!

And just a couple of cute pictures to top off the post...
