Rock n Roll Raleigh

This year was the first Rock n Roll Marathon in Raleigh and both Richard and Cara ran in the half! They did a great job, especially on this really tough course. There were quite a few people that had trouble with it. I'm not sure exactly why - it wasn't particularly hot or humid, but I do wonder if it had something to do with the course being so hilly. In general, Raleigh is a very hilly place to run and it can make a course really difficult if you're not used to it. We visited the expo on Saturday, which was just ok - smaller than the ones we've been to for Rock n Roll in VA beach, but the vendors were still great. On race day, Katie and I took the 3 youngest cousins (Garett, Sophie and Lily) to watch for aunt Cara and daddy. We were so proud of our runners!
