I really wasn't sure if I wanted to go back to all our major events over the past months to blog about them, but I think I will try. Christmas is such a special time for us and was most especially this year for so many reasons. We did our usual Christmas traditions of building a gingerbread house and making cookies, but we started a new tradition also. Instead of visiting Santa at the mall like we usually do, we went to an evening with Santa at my work and it was a lot of fun! We had some up close and personal time with Santa and got to make a fun craft as well.
We started off our Christmas celebration with the Martin side of the family. Everyone got together at Nana and Paca's house to open gifts and eat some deliciousness.
The next day, Lily, Nana and I headed to Greensboro for a Nutcracker Tea Party with Lily's aunt Margaret, her great aunt Margaret, her great aunt Sylvia and cousin Jennifer. The tea parties are always so much fun!
The day following our tea party, we headed up to the farm! We had so much fun spending time with the family, cutting down our own Christmas tree and waking up to a ton of presents from Santa on Christmas morning. We made some wonderful memories up there.
