Last weekend, we headed to Charlotte to celebrate the marriage of my cousin Adrian and his fiance Terra! We left on Friday afternoon and got into Charlotte that evening in time for the rehearsal dinner - which was so much fun. A lot of our extended family came into town to celebrate and it was really great to catch up and spend some time with them. Lily got to see my grandmother, her great-grandmother, and we got some wonderful pictures of the two of them together. Sophie and Lily pretty much danced all night long and we got some really good pictures of the two of them as well. After a yummy meal, good dancing, and some delicious groom's cake (made by Cara, of course) we headed to bed to rest up for the wedding the next afternoon. Here are some rehearsal dinner pictures:

Saturday morning, we headed down for some tasty breakfast and then went back to our room to get ready for the wedding! We headed over to the church for the ceremony. Adrian and Terra wrote their own vows and did a wonderful job with them - Terra was a beautiful bride and they looked so happy together. After the wedding we headed over to the Elizabeth Manor for their reception. We had some tasty food and some hang out time, while the kiddos got to run around outside on the patio. It was a gorgeous day - perfect weather for a wedding and kid play time! Adrian and Terra cut their cake - which Cara made (it was delicious and beautiful, or course) and toasted each other. It was a really fun day and we are so glad we got to celebrate this important day with Terra, Adrian and Lily.
After we got back from the wedding, we headed to dinner (Omaha Steakhouse - so yummy!) and then went to the after party in Aunt Marie's room - it was quite fun :) .
