She's currently cutting 3 top teeth all at once, poor thing. Once they finally come through she'll have a total of 6 teeth! And she really likes to use them to check out her environment - we're constantly saying things like "Annabelle, don't chew on my knee" or "Annabelle, don't chew on the table". And she thinks this is hilarious.
I actually called her doctors office yesterday to get some advice from them because she has backed way off on her bottles and nursing this week. We're perfectly fine with her doing so, but it was a little concerning because she seems so young to be doing it. But apparently this is really common with kids this age, so we're just going with the flow. She's eating 3 solids meals a day and is producing PLENTY of diapers (and not slowing down in the growth department) so we'll just see what she decides to do. We gave her a sippy cup a couple weeks ago and she thinks it's a lot of fun - lots of banging the cup around.
Annabelle had her 9 month appointment last week and she is 20 lbs 8 oz and 27" long! Just growing away. Her height and head circumference put her in the 75th percentile and her weight is keeping her steadily in the 50th.
Happy 9 months sweet AnnaB! We love you!
