This post is a bit late - we have been so busy this June! Annabelle turned 8 months old on the 18th and is just the happiest, most easy going baby. She reminds me so much of Lily at this age - so happy and social. She loves to crawl and has mastered the art of going from a crawl position to sitting. She was so proud of herself when she figured that out ☺️. We have to watch her like a hawk when she's crawling around - the child has a magnetic attraction to cords. She will find any cord in a mile radius and try to eat it. She's also fearless and will try to crawl anywhere - behind chairs, under tables. There's nowhere she won't go! Baby proofing became a number one priority this month!
She is getting more used to solid foods now. Veggies are most definitely her preference, but she's tolerating fruits too. We didn't start any rice cereal with her until this week and she absolutely loves it. Just plain rice cereal with some breast milk mixed in - it's a big hit!
We don't have a doctors appointment this month, so no official stats. Annabelle's wearing both 12 month and 12-18 month clothes, so we definitely know that she's growing away! Here's some recent pictures of our sweet girl:
