Last week I (finally) joined Disney Movie Rewards and entered in all of our movie points that had been sitting around in our various Disney blu rays - sidenote: we now have 825 points! Well, after entering all these points, we were rewarded with 3 free movie passes to Finding Nemo 3D. So, Lily and I invited Aunt Katie to come up and go see it with us!
Lily had never been to a movie theater before - mainly because we weren't sure she would be able to sit through a whole movie in a theater - she's still pretty restless just watching one at home. But she had a great time! We got her a kids combo that had popcorn (quite a bit actually - we just shared), fruit snacks and a drink. Aunt Katie also snagged some caramel popcorn (seriously, they had caramel popcorn!) and we were all set for snacks. We sat down, put on our 3D glasses and settled down to watch the movie. And with the exception of one potty break, Lily watched the whole thing! She wasn't too sure about the 3D glasses (they were a little big), but overall she seemed to have a really good time. Now we'll have to keep an eye out for the next movie for her to see on the big screen!
