Lilypie is 10 months old!

Wow, we are only 2 months away from the big ONE! Can that really be possible?? Lily changes so much, almost on a daily basis, and becomes more and more of this little human rather than a baby - it's really amazing. She is such a fun, happy little girl and spending time with her is my favorite pastime - Daddy's too, I'm pretty sure ;-) .

It seems like this month has brought a lot of quick, significant changes for the Pie. She's started crawling (quickly - no more army crawls for this girl!), pulling up, trying to stand on her own at times, feeding herself, saying a few words and actively communicating with us and with the dogs. She's still one of the happiest babies I know and loves to smile and laugh. Of course, it's pretty much a guarantee that hearing N-O will bring some tears, but we're working on getting past that. Lily loves to feed herself, but alas, still has no teeth, so it's still a lot of soft stuff for her. So far she's had pears, pasta, green beans, puffs and cheese in the non-pureed form and loves all of it! As soon as she gets some teeth we'll let her start eating some meat on her own - which I'll appreciate, as cooking and pureeing her meat is definitely the most time consuming food to make for her. Here's a couple of pictures of the big girl feeding herself:

Besides her 3 solid meals a day, Lily's nursing or having a bottle about 5-6 times a day and has some water in a bottle or sippy cup throughout the day as well.

Lily's sleep habits haven't changed at all, thank goodness. She still sleeps from about 7:30-6 or later every day and takes 2, 1-2 hour naps throughout the day, most of the time. Naptime is where she can still be a little iffy, but as long as we get that good stretch of sleep at night, she stays pretty happy throughout the day. We don't have a doctor's visit this month, so I don't know what her stats are for sure. But, I don't think she's changed much in height in the past month, although she's definitely gotten more solid and seems to be filling out her 6-12 month clothes even better. She's steadily grown out of all of her 3-6 months clothes, although she does have some jammies that still fit. It's been fun moving her up to bigger sizes - shopping for new Lily clothes is one of my favorite things! Yesterday, while out running some errands, we found the cutest pair of overalls - of course, we had to get them for her! Here are some pictures from today, of the 10 month old Lilypie and her adorable overalls:

And one last bit of Lilypie cuteness - the other day, when picking up Lily, Miss Erica showed us a new Lily trick and I was able to capture it on video. Apparently, Lily loves to dance! Every time she hears music, she starts bouncing, whether she's in your arms, on her hands or knees or in her frog chair. The funniest though is when she's on the floor and hears it - she immediately hops up on her hands and knees and starts dancing away! Check out her skills:
